White Ball in Winter

A caddy helps a golfer try to find his ball in the snowy fairway while telling him, "Sir, I know you like tradition, but maybe you should consider not playing with a white golf ball."

If you go to my Facebook page, you’ll see my “home course,” which sometimes has fairways with half-snow, half-grass. I once forgot to use my orange Callaway Supersoft balls, then spent a while looking for my ball in the snowy fairway. Thanks for reading!

Winter golf has its own set of challenges, especially when snow turns the fairway into a guessing game. This cartoon pokes fun at the age-old tradition of playing a white ball, even when it blends perfectly into the landscape. Sometimes sticking to tradition makes the game harder than it needs to be.
